On February 11, 2026, Zang Toi and his fashion warriors strutted their stuff down a runway at the Park Avenue Christian Church in Manhattan. Toi presented his Grand Galactic Galaxy Collection with a futuristic flair, featuring fog clouds, black leather, luxurious furs, and sparkling fabrics, all in a palette of black, silver, white, and cobalt blue, and accented with exclamation points of silver lipstick and jellyroll hair.

Zang said this collection is a tribute to his late brother, inspired by their trips to the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood in Paris. That dreamscape was spiced with the world of Elon Musk and SpaceX.

Fashion news is filled with tributes to nineties minimalism, as exemplified by Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s character in FX/Hulu’s series Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette. Zang summoned this minimalist spirit with his show-stopping evening gowns, which strolled the runway in an aura of elegant simplicity.

But not all of life can be lived in restraint. Sometimes a gal needs a costume for balls, galas, or anywhere else where she wants to be the star of her own story.

This collection had everything our main character would need, from over-the-top short suits that could pause conversation in the bar at the top of the Standard Hotel to elegant, covered evening gowns suitable for a Middle Eastern icon like Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser Al-Missned.

The line was filled with statement pieces that were exquisitely hand-crafted in Zang’s atelier. One notable piece was the cityscape cape featuring intergalactic vessels. The showstopper was a white tulle gown embellished with butterflies.
